it will indeed be Be Thou My Vision.. be thou was pushed off a song last time. It will go up sometime next week AFTER the wedding unless Kitty wants to go ahead and put it up sooner. After that we will do a few upbeat ones.

For a wonderful clip of Be Thou My Vision, just check out the one by some of the original PWAers, in the Praise clips section. Walden & Brass were among the recording artistes of that version ... not sure who else.

Plus, Mark already has the notes (& tabs) for this on Whistle & Squeak. It's also available at the website Kitty posted, igrace.com, with guitar chords, but needs transposed ... it's too low for the whistle.

I'm thinking Connie would really like to try "Joshua Fit the Battle" with her Cocobolo Blues. :)

But I don't know this one!! I guess I will have to use the slow down software and try to get it into my head. I started yesterday playing the dots. Then I listened to the one on Praise Clips and I said, "Oh that is what it is supposed to sound like". It will be a long road.

hey folks: we're all musicians. i think we know the common songs. how about some of the songs that other folks from different traditions might not know? i am calling dibs on "The King of Love My Shepherd is." which has different words too and is called, "O Breathe on Me o Breath of God." I'll figure out how to record sometime soon.
