The current song has only been up one week. The time frame is two weeks. I don't have the nest song ready yet so you will just have to find some patience somewhere :)

It would be interesting to see a list (not the pdf or midi) of 3-5 of the 'next songs'. This would give people who post early a chance to work on the next songs. (This would work particularly well for songs we don't know and need to spend longer on.) They would just have to wait for all of us to catch up at the last song.

Or, the early posters (you listening, Jim? ;) ) could be working on Christmas tunes to post for the Christmas album Jim E. suggested.

... my 2 cents ...

Yes it would be interesting. But at this point due to time contraints I am going to have to continue doing things the way I have been doing them. I haven;t even had time to record the current tune :)

If this is unacceptable then someone can step up and offer to take over the finding/posting of songs if they feel they have time to do this.

The problem with posting the next 4 or 5 songs as just titles is they do not always start in a whistle friendly key and I am pretty sure that not all the folks here that post have the ability to transpose. I could be wrong however on that count.

But if anyone out there feels like they can meet this requirement please feel free to send me a PM and I will turn over the picking and posting of songs to you :).

And with that being said if you have it in D look at

Come Thou Font of Every Blessing

at least in my church we do this at a good pace. There is a bit of trickines for the whistle finger wise on the 8th.. 2 16th note phrase in bar 3 of the version I have which should give us a bit of a challenge.

After this I will try to find something bit faster as we gradually speed up a bit for awhile. Have to dig out my other song books for some of the other stuff that has been suggested in other threads.

Aw, Jim, that's so sad.... :-({|= :-({|=

Methinks thee'll have to be patient. Some of us are a bit slower.
