Hi, Folks. I've been playing my Dixon plastic Low D and made a clip of "Lead, Kindly Light." I've left it on the recording landing, so to speak, and those who know how to get to the place can find it. (There are clips by others there as well.)

The exchange seems pretty slow the last months, but I still wanted to share this one.

Nice piece, Keith! My Dixon low D doesn't sound anywhere near that nice.

.... guess, maybe, it could be the player?

:?

;)

I hope the Exchange gets up and running again now that the holidays are mainly behind us .....

Perhaps it's not so much the current player, but the fact that this whistle once belonged to a certain T.H. (he had the contest on his website and I won) and some of his ability to make things sound nice is still hanging around the whistle. I suspect it will diminish with time and in a few more months in my possession it will sound about as awful as normal. ;)

I'm glad that the praise exchange looks to be moving along again.

I've opened (following Rin Tin's example) a page on ezFolk. Here you can find my version of "Lead Kindly Light": http://ezfolk.com/audio/bands/2788/music.php

I think I would trade my Howard for a Dixon low D. Many people like the Howard. I am not one of them.

Nice playing Keith

Nice, Keith! I'm glad you set up that page. Thanks for sharing.
