Post subject:  Loading music from a Mac

I would really like to contribute something to the site, a tune or two if I can, but I have no idea how to go about it. I've read the advice here but I don't understand even though I'm sure it's simple and well explained. We have a mac at home and I think that might be contributing to the problem. Can anyone help?

Well, the easy way would be to email your music file to me. :)

However, here's a page with plenty of freeware FTP programs for Mac. Just pick one and install it, then upload your file to PWA.

http://www.pure-mac.com/ftp.html

If you'd like to give that a try, let me know and I'll tell you how to log on to the FTP folders.

Thanks for the prompt reply Kitty. I'll see how I get on.
At the moment I don't even have music files to forward to you as I don't know how to get my playing on the computer. I'm sure it'll be easy once I have the knowledge, usually is.

I may be all wet here, but I think there's an Audacity program for Mac.

Audacity is open source software from the Linux community and has been ported to both Windows and Macs.

You can probably find recording/editing programsfor Macs at the Shareware Music Machine, including the Mac version of Audacity.
