Thanks so much to all of you who participated. This has been a load of fun for me. And there are so many great tunes for PWA Christmas 2007 Collection.

Well done Darvis!

You absolutely deserve it for all the progress you have made and hard work you have put into mastering your playing. Don't let your boss catch you with your new whistle. ;)

Keith
Thank you VERY VERY much for organising this competition. It is huge fun.

Is it a whistle he's owned in the past?

Wow, I can't believe it!! First I want to thank God. Then I want to thank my mom and dad, who always believed in me. Then I want to thank my agent, who kept me going even during the hungry years when no one ever thought I'd make it big like this...okay, enough joking (none of you ever thought you'd hear me say that, did you?).

Seriously, this obviously wasn't based on talent, but I DO want to thank all of you who have taken the time to offer me great advice in learning to play. Obviously I have learned from all the great tips and suggestions, and I appreciate it more than I can express. Also, all of you give me such excellent examples of fine playing, that I can sit there listening and thinking, "I think they did it like...THIS," and suddenly magic happens as I play.

Thank you all!

And thanks to Keith for revitalizing my interest in playing at all with these contests. Thanks, buddy!

Congrats, Darvis! I'm so happy for you!

(I'm a little confused about the new board-- shows what happens around here if I miss a day of checking in due to computer issues and holiday house cleaning in preparation for guests!)

By the way, we also owe a big thanks to Mack for making such a beautiful whistle and being a crucial part of this whole thing. He was actually pretty happy to know his creation (and therefore part of him) would be used in giving away joy in the form of a whistle. Who knows if he's reading this thread or not, so maybe I ought to send him a PM.

Thanks Mack.

You mean there was contest and I missed it.
