This is a great old hymn, and I look forward to hearing others' take on it.

Good one Aaron. I always liked this one. One of my favorites that goes with Lead Kindly Light.

ok here we go . . . two versions.

one is pretty simple. played on a low d onyx and hi d mack hoover white cap.

the other is, uh, er . . . is just for grins . . . i call it the River Kwai version . . . the harmony just reminds me of a march . . . melody on a burke alum low c, harmony on a somers hi c

neither one are perfect - but love this forum.

Very nicely done.

I always rather liked the idea of playing harmonies in real time. I had an ocarina-maker friend make me a double ocarina that I could play a scale with either hand, but it was so heavy I sold it.

Randy, both versions are nifty ... but the River Kwai version wins top vote from me.
