Excellent. It's a nice set up and makes it easier to access than going back through many pages of discussion (which are fun and helpful at the time, but make it more difficult to find things later). I like that you've kept everyone's info about the whistle used, how recorded, etc.

Nicely done.

This is nice. Now if I could just get the latest one recorded. I am having a respiratory problem which is hard on my system. Soon I will have it. Monday is the MD Ren Fest seniors day. The Olwells will be there with flutes. The House of Musical Traditions will also be there. I will be looking to buy.

Exactly! I like going back through and listening to all the clips at once after everyone has posted, so I thought I'd make it easy to do that.

The House of Musical Traditions

Ron! I LOVE the House of Musical Traditions!!

I used to live in Fairfax county over in Virginia and I'd periodically drive all the way around the Beltway just to visit that store. This was 15-20 years ago - long before I knew anything about whistles or hand percussion, but I still loved browsing in that shop.

Kitty I go there frequently. They always allow me to try the whistles and flutes. I will be trying whatever they have. At Leesburg I tried a Dixon 3 piece flute. It was one of the few flutes that I have picked up that I could play through 2 octaves when I first tried it. I hope they have some nice surprizes there. Olwells usually have a few bamboo flutes. I bought a G about 2 years ago. I hope he has some Ds at a reasonable price.

By t he way, it's easy when scanning through all the posts for me to miss one, so if I ever leave a clip out of the collection page, please let me know!
