Post subject:  Spring!

Spring is here at last!

The trees are in blossom.
The grass is fresh green.
The birds are singing.
The lambs are skipping in the fields.
Carnival week started yesterday.
Susan has ordered a new recorder.
Yes it's Spring again.

You can share mine! I'll post more spring pix later. I'd like to see your irises when they come out.

Would love to see spring here as well. Temperatures remain at a "hard freeze" and will do so for some time. Even the snow is too cold to play in. Not so much fun any more. The inside of my classroom's glass door is frozen when I get there in the morning. The guitars tend to bow at the neck and the whistles won't play in tune. But today the wind died down, and even though your lungs catch if you breathe too felt almost warm.

Apple? Pear? What flowers are that? They look like the crabapple blossoms in the woods. (Haven't bloomed this year yet.)
I saw an extremely beautiful sunrise this morning on my way to college.
I need to order a recorder again. I have a pile of whistles, and only one recorder! :P
But I'll probably get something I never played before...
Maybe I'll get a reed whistle. ;)

after three days of no hot water at our house, the temperatures finally rose enough today that right about 5:30 pm we were giving up hope of hot water again and voila! the pipes finally melted. our water heater and the laundry room are in an out building. it's an older home and when the temperatures get too cold, the hot water pipes freeze. usually, if we remove the dryer vent hose and turn on the dryer, this heats up the outbuilding and everything works fine. this time we got caught off cold by the serious cold snap. i don't think it's spring yet.
