Susan has just left and will be in England for a month or so. The train left so quickly we didn't have time to say goodbye but I got a snap as it whisked her away.

Well ... looks like you will have to get along on your own for awhile ... I can usually manage if Myrna leaves for a spell..... as long as the microwave continues to work.

Safe travels, Susan! Let us know when you reach England safely.

I posted on another thread just now but have just seen that Judy wanted to know when I arrived safely. I got here yesterday late afternoon after a trouble free flight. Thank you for asking.

The weather is a shock: at least 10C cooler than in Greece. It's also been very wet.

Last summer this weekend my wife left on a short trip to England and then on to six weeks in Italy for an NEH research seminar on St. Francis. Let's just say t's a good time, Adrian, to catch up on recording more whistle tunes.

Best wishes to both of you.

Thanks. The time will go quickly. In 2003 Susan left me here in Greece and spent two years back at London university, so I know that time apart does fly.

Very jealous of your wife attending a seminar on St Francis, a hero of mine.

Catch up on recording more tunes? Hmmm. Actually, your last two clips have got me practicing rolls again as you have got some quite nifty ornaments under your belt now. If you're passing here you can stop by and give me some lessons, please!

TPE has forced me to improve my playing, or try at least, but it is a bit intimidating for me because of the high standards.

Adrian, you gotta post something soon! I've worn out your Christmas tunes. Your playing is very much up to snuff.
