This is three days ago. We went for a walk in the forest. It was -8C which is 17F in American and Susan needed fingerless gloves to play her Dreamflute! Brrrrrrr!

We set off very early so you can see the sun rising through the trees.

I think it is the chocolate that allows you to walk around in 17 deg weather ... but I will pass on it ... my bones don't like the cold anymore. I am also not too inclined to play the whistle when my teeth are chattering! :D

And I have to put up with 80 degree temperatures, gentle breezes, and relaxing in the hot tub here in Florida.

Yikes! I can almost see the little frozen notes floating in the air! Was Susan playing "Cold is The Morning"? It's one of my favorite Christmas songs.

Kathy :)

They're predicting 39C in Perth today (102F) We're staying inside today with the air conditioner running, our feet up and a cool drink. Unless the heat trough moves it will be the same tomorrow.

We have an evaporative air conditioner that works really well in this weather (16% humidity), for which we are very thankful.

The trip to the beach has been postponed for now.

Hope you all have a blessed Christmas.

Shalom,
Ian

I spent one Christmas in Perth, in 1977 I think. It just wasn't right having a hot sunny Christmas and was very confusing. No beach though as we had to work. Have a happy Christmas down there.
