I got up at five this morning and walked up a hill hoping for a great sunrise photo. It was a nice three hour walk there and back but no spectacular sunrise. However, a very pretty scene unfolded in front of me as I played airs on my Overton.

At my feet there was a sure sign that spring is not far away. \:D/

Funny, that second pic made me stop thinking about how cold it is here today. Thank you!

nice way to stretch your legs .... just a short walk before breakfast. :D

I often have the same thing happen to me .. I go looking for a shot .. and can't find it .. and then God drops something in my lap that is totally unexpected. Nice shot ....

I guess the moral of the story is to keep looking and to have a camera with you! Or ... you could just take Susan with you .. perhaps she is lucky!! :-k  ;)

Shadows on the crags. (Sigh.) I think I'd like to copy off this photograph and have the students draw it on the next music appreciation day.

Adrian, Susan,

What a treat to see your region with its vistas and mountains. I am falling in love with your country through your sharing and showing.
