It is cold .. gray .. and dreary today. Everything is dead .. grass is brown .. trees are bare of leaves ... it didn't give me the warm fuzzies..... not even close. I was thinking... Lord .... thiis sure is depressing ... nothing even worth a photograph. Then my eyes were drawn to a bright burst of red in a field. Turned in and saw the bush shown below.

Think God is a lot like that ... we can be in the waste lands just "keeping on keeping on". With "LIFE" having a great time beating the heck out of us .... and then God shows up and we sense His presence. At that point we have a choice (much like I had on the bush .. ignore it .. or go toward it) ... we can keep our eyes on our troubles or turn to God. Think it is very much a choice ... and sometimes .. I choose to keep/wallow in my troubles .... age doen't necessarily make us smarter.

Any way .. I thank Him for the bush .. it brightened my day ...

What a wonderful splash of colour. Thank you for the praise photo!

Is that the S3 IS? Did you use Noise Ninja?

Aye ... I dismounted from my camel .. and ... wouldn't you know it .. my robes got tangled and I almost tripped .. but eventually regaining my balance I shuffled over to the bush. After an hour or so .. I had regained my breath and was able to take the picture only to find that I had left my camera on Clyde ... so after another hour or so .. I finally got my picture. One must persevere in photography!
