Doesn't appear that he wanted fame ..... or perhaps he is shy. But I am glad to see you had your cameral handy. Think Adrian will be impressed that you were there with the camera when he showed ... nice shot!

Wow! I didn't know they were that dark. Here in Virginia they're a very light gray color; almost white.

He looks sick. His hair looks like it has some bald spots, like the mange. Did he look sick in person?

Maybe that's how his hair looks when he first wakes up.

There are several on this board (of which I am one) whose hair looks the same in the morning as it does all day. ;)

I have seen them vary from "silver" to almost black. Most 'possums here tend toward the silver and they just hissed at me and tried to crawl further back into my plywood/2X4/sheetrock stack if I tried to prod it to go outside (when I was a house owner).

My daughter used to pronounce the O when she was little. Everybody laughed at her. Here in Merlun they are silver grey and move with the speed of growing grass.

Looks like a rat, doesn't it?

It's actually a marsupial. The females run around with young in a pouch. They supposedly grasp a branch with their tail and hang by it, but I've never seen one do that.

As meat they're very greasy. Not the best, IMO.

Les, the grass grows a little slower than clothes dry on the line.
