Greek bees are very clever and can even read. The sign at this drinking trough says "No bees!" :-k

I like the pics but would you mind explaining why it says no bees .. seems wrong to discriminate against the bees ..... ;)

If they can read ... no doubt they will soon be getting their own lawyers to appeal such a ruling ..

They are obviously drinking too much water! Can American bees even read?

Adrian, either you had a super big zoom lens or you are a very brave individual. I'm skittish around bees.

Our American bees have fallen on hard times. Some mysterious illness is wiping out entire colonies. They're starting to worry about food supply, what with all the crops that are pollinated by the bees.

It was a baby compact camera so I crawled up to the hives. Bees don't tend to be aggressive. We have hornets here that kill people and I don't go near their nests!

So sad to hear that American bees are suffering from a mystery disease. Perhaps they cannot read warning signs? Honey is such an amazing food and medicine. I hope your scientists soon find an answer to the problem over there.
