Not with this kind of spirit though. In the Balkans it is legal to make and sell what you call moonshine in the USA. It is VERY strong and a glass is given as a sign of hospitality when you visit a home (and sometimes a church or even a monastery). This was being sold in the local street market (agora).

"Don't get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living, but instead be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms, hymns and with spiritual singing."

I tried the first ... to be cool .. fit in ... and wound up hooked on it.....

Found that being filled with the Spirit is ever so much better no headaches ... or excuses ... or not remembering how I got home even though the car was in its normal spot.

Found the Spirit's company much better than any friend I have ever had ....

Perhaps I wasn't supposed to take this post so serious ..................

What plant is it made from? (i.e. grapes, barley, hops, etc.) Southern moonshine comes from corn.

Being filled with the Spirit is, indeed, better.

It is made in Greece from the left overs from the wine making.

When we lived in Albania we helped make it in our village by crushing the grapes bare footed in a large trough.

That's O.K. , Jim Wright. Experience is the best teather. And who knows, maybe someone, who's teetering on which Spirit/spirit to choose, will read this and will be inspired to choose the right Spirit.

Blessings,
Lyn
