My dear friend Jim phoned today but I was out......thought I would share with you all just what I was up to !

Today the sun was shining
the weather still and fine
so I popped out in my motor
to have some whistle time.

I only took one whistle
my lovely sweetheart pro
and at some jigs and reels and things
I thought I'd have a go.

My fingers ran across the holes
as played from music sheet
and to the rythm of the tunes
I tapped the beat with feet

The music fell from steering wheel
on which the sheet I'd propped
perhaps on any other day
at this point I'd have stopped.

But I played on and on and on
no room for doubt or fear
the music flowed and flowed and flowed
as I played on by ear!

The moral of this story is
no matter how you feel
you should never prop your music on
the motors steering wheel.

Love you all...Les.

Les that's FANTASTIC!!!!!!

We really do need to have a central location for all the wonderful poetry being produced here!

After "ALL THAT" the moral is to not prop your music on the sterring wheel.... the poem is great but have me doubts on the moral LOL!!!
