Hmmmm.... I know at one time Britches Full of Stitches was one of those disliked... (I hate the word hate lol) Itrads.

I struggle with the Ash Plant on Mountain Dulcimer and I know what ya mean. Grrr... stop and start, stop and start.

Yes, take a break from it and relax and enjoy the other learning adventures.

Would it help to play along with the tune on CD?
If it is too fast to play along, have you heard of the program called
Amazing Slow downer? You can slow the tune down without changing the pitch. A useful tool.

Also check out the freeware program BestPractice. An open-source audio time-stretching tool for Windows which is basically a free clone of the Amazing Slow Downer.
