My brother found this great website and shared his find with me. BibleGateway.com has 21 English Bible versions, plus over 50 versions in other languages. Right now I'm enjoying the Amplified Bible.

Just passing along the Good Word .... :D

Good site, thank you for sharing.
I know a lot of people here talk about mp3 players and such, so I thought I would share this site audiotreasure.com It has many translations available and will give you a way to listen to the bible anywhere you want to.

Peace,
Micheal

The audiotreasure.com site also has other languages like Spanish for instance. If you use the slow down function of Media Player or SlowDowner you can listen to it at a slower speed to help learn the language. This is great for me. Since I sometimes conduct some services for Spanish speaking people and I don't speak Spanish very well.

Maybe I need to post my links again.

Audio Bible
Bible Study Tools
Bible.org
Bibles.net
Unbound Bible
Skeptic's Annotated Bible and the Koran as well.

And my favorite offline Bible collection:
eSword: The Sword of the Lord with an Electronic edge. Try it, you'll like it!

Have eSword handy if you check out the Skeptic's Annotated Bible. It is handy to see their text in context and check out various commentaries. You can usually see how their "spin" isn't correct after consulting other scriptures.

I just wish I had a laptop to take to church. Finding stuff is a snap and note taking is very easy. I can adjust text size, too, much easier than with hard copy.

This is an awesome thread! One of my online favorites is Blue Letter Bible. There are so many useful tools out there!

The Blue Letter Bible is one of my favorites, too -- and one of the first I ever found online. I've looked at fancypiper's favorite, E-sword -- just don't have a good enough connection speed to download it. It looks great!

Maybe we should ask Kitty if this would make a good sticky to keep all the resources close to the top?

I can send you a cd. PM me with your snail mail addy and operating system (it is available for Windows, Linux and Mac).

Everybody should have the eSword program. If anyone else in the USA has bandwidth problems, just PM me with your snail mail addy and operating system and I will gladly burn you a CD. I just ordered 100 blank CD-Rs which should be in next week.
