Do you floss your windways on recorders and whistles that are prone to clogging. Wax floss not only cleans but more importantly can drastically reduce clogging (which will be a topical issue when the cold weather comes). It certainly stopps the clogging on Susan's Mollenhauers.

Jim, Jim, Jim....... why are you always trying to get me in trouble? Pretty soon people are going to start thinking I might be trouble. I actually thought this was pretty good information, never thought that applying wax with floss could help with clogging problems. I might have to try it and see if it works better than Duponol.

I will be nice and not post a picture of Jim playing whistle. Not saying he has a clogging problem, more like a drooling problem. I bet he is the only one here that has to wear a bib when he plays

Peace,
Micheal

It really does help with recorders. Waxed tape is the best and I use peppermint flavour. If it were chocolate flavor the problem would be exacerbated!
