YES, \:D/ :-' as of today I do make Bb whistles, and have fun doing it. Thanks for your encouragement Blackhawk. Just a little more cosmetic work and I hope to post pictures by Friday.

Excellent, Tommy! I can't wait to see those pictures. Bb is a great key.

OK, think gray, not white. I had to much light. Bb on top and a pair of A's. Curved wind way, and curved under side of mouthpiece.

Soprano D of curly maple, elephant of pine, and wolf of bass wood.

In case any are making any whistles, this fairly new spreadsheet that I have written corrects the problem with the low notes being slightly flat and the upper notes being slightly sharp. Tight tuning with good closed hole correction.
Hole positions are measured from the bottom up to the center of the hole.
The only thing to watch out for is the length - this can vary easily because of mouthpiece design.

I would be happy to share some trade secrets if anyone is interested in learning more about whistle making. I can show you how to make one out of pvc or copper..... any key with a dremmel and pretty much nothing else, except maybe a vise and a couple little hand tools....

you can see my whistles at:
