“This was not a popularity contest; it was war against evil and injustice and power and greed and exploitation. It was light invading the darkness. A fist got raised in Bethlehem. Satan’s rule and reign was under attack. And two-year-old boys died. Full of life and love and hope and promise, but a clear and present danger to the status quo.

Jesus came as a baby, but He was born a King. Before He preached a sermon or performed a miracle, He offended the power-hungry. He enflamed the paranoia of the oppressor. Jesus parachuted behind the enemy lines into the arms of a courageous teenaged mom.”

-Dan Wolgemuth, president, Youth for Christ/USA

I hope you all are having a wonderful day with wonderful people as we celebrate the greatest rescue mission of all time!

What a great way to spread the Word ... and get the attention of young'ns.

Hope your day was filled with joy and good memories, Connie.

Good Word and a reminder that sixty years ago a young sailor left his seat against the back wall of the topmost of a three tier balcony to go down front and be rescued. Pretty sure it was a YFC evangelist and a huge Methodist but mostly it was my praying older sisters that did the battle, and it was the Son that won (is winning) the war.

Mack. :sunny: So glad you went forward! So glad the evangelist was there that day. His being a YFC evangelist makes my day, but the greater blessing is you going forward. THAT is wonderful!
