Here in deep southern Ohio, the strange temperatures and several days of rain (here & in points upriver), has the Ohio River in flood stage. It is not expected to crest until sometime Monday along our part of the river. The backup waters from the river are causing already swollen creeks to flood more ... again.

Those lucky (smart?) enough to be living along the ridges and hills have to cope with finding dry roads to travel on ... and deal with mud bogs that used to be roads.

The temperatures forecast for the next 3 days give highs of 72, 81, and 71.

I love living on our hilltop, even without the flooding; appreciate the warm temps. I don't like waiting for the shoe to drop with this wacky winter so far.

With temps here in the 80's tomorrow, I guess I could be in shorts & T-shirt, too.

How goes your garden, Tommy?

We are a bit past our planting date because of so much rain and wet soil but still in a week or so we will be planting spring garden soon. :sunny2:

VA weather is bi-polar - if you don't like it, wait an hour, it'll change.

Here in the UK we are on the edge of spring. The days getting longer, slightly warmer and sunnier. I'm still tempted to move back to the Mediterainian though.

We had 1 1/2 inches of snow followed 2 days later by 76 degree weather. Tomorrow we are expecting 78 degree weather. It looks like the next 10 days. We are in the 50s and 60s. New harmonica is nice. Not going to be as easy to learn as the whistle. The weather is better than the 20 degree weather we were having.
