It's been a while. I'm still playing my whistles most days. We're back in the uk now.

Yup, it's me! Susan is quite well but has multiple sclerosis now. Once a mountaineer that covered great distances in the hills with a heavy pack but now she takes an hour to stumble a full mile. But she never complains and is greatful for the active life she's had.

In some ways it's nice to be home after 20 years living overseas but at the same time we miss the missionary life.

On leaving Greece I gave away my 12-string guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, etc but I have all my favourite whistles and flutes still. Susan can no longer play as the MS has caused her to lose feeling in one hand so she cannot feel the holes on the whistles or flutes. Still, we count our blessings.

Hi Adrian ! Regulars here will tell you I haven’t been here much. I have been a little busy. I just gave my beloved Martin D28 to my son in law. I have not been able to play it for a long time because of arthritis. He plays well and will treat it well. Ron

Hi Ron! Sorry to hear about your arthritis and loss of your beloved Martin. Can you play any instrument at all now?

Susan says she just makes music in her head now.

I am playing uke, whistles and dulcimer. I am waiting for the delivery of a new harmonica. I started learning last week on an antique whistle that was my father in laws. I always wanted to play a reed instrument.

Ron - Sounds like you have plenty of instruments to keep you busy. And you're about to learn even more! Which receded instrument will you learn first?

Randy - Thanks

Jim - Thank you too
