Kitty,

We have a filter at my work that won't let me hear or download any of our mp3s. I ask the data manager here and he said it is because the content type is called 'application/octetstream'.
He said if it was called a mp3 then that would be cool. If that can't be changed or if it has something to do with our wonderful new forum then ignore me. I was just hoping there was something you could do so I could hear them at work. I can't even right click and download them either. Otherwise I will just wait til I get home.

Hope you are having a good time with your Father in Hawaii.

Thanks,
Paulette

Kitty,

The first one I cannot click on and listen but I can download it, then listen.

The second one I can click on and listen. Sounds great.

The third one I cannot do anything with it at work.

Thanks for helping me but you could have waited til you got home.
I know you are busy.

Take care,
Paulette

Actually, that's Connie! I'm not the only Admin around here. There are a handful of us, and a Moderator team as well.

It's okay, Paulette. No worries.

Okay, your data manager is right, in that with this new board, we can upload our mp3s as attachments--which is great, but they make some formatting changes for reasons I don't completely understand.

I had originally intended (on the Praise Exchange forum) to follow the attached mp3s around and provide those cool little mp3 players for all of them. I have gotten lazy on that, so I can kick myself into gear now and get them into manageable formats for you.

Thanks for pointing this out, Mermaid. The new features on this board are very new, so it's good to know what we can do to make everything work better.
