Here is a recording where I just started playing random stuff. It's rather rough, but I like some of the elements of it. :)
Right-click to download

I'm currently working on a dulcimer/singing arrangement of be thou my vision. I like my dulcimer. 8)

That was quite nice, Kristos. Rough or not I certainly enjoyed it  What were you playing?

Ah, sorry about that--> Susato C (Small Bore). It has a kinda harsh but rich tone, but when applied right, it's beautiful.

Interesting piece, Kris! A little heavy of the reverb for my tastes normally, but nice. That Susato performs well in your hands.

I agree with Judy. I heard some nice parts in there, but it's hard to pick out the actual melody because the reverb is too heavy that it muddies the song. I'd like to hear this with no reverb, Kristos.

Haha, pardon me. That was a pretty good bit of reverb, wasn't it? Not sure what lead me to do that, but anyway, here ya go: no reverberation:

I like the original ... haven't listened to the dry take.

I really like when people just play ... no music, just play. Very nicely done, and the reverb doesn't bother me ... it's kinda cool on this sort of thing, IMO.

Nice job!

I like it a lot, Kris. I liked it enough to download so I can listen to it a lot. More please! Hurry up with that arrangement of BTMV!

The reverb was a big part of the piece's appeal for me, as well. Of course, a lot of my musical preferences are stuck in the 60's.

The 60's? Wasn't that when people lived in caves? Caves have a lot of reverb.

Caveman?!? that could be a post-modern reality rather than a retro throwback! How condescending !!

I can't believe it! I can't even hear the new version because Microsoft keeps saying there's an error! Oh, darn!
