Here's a tune I made up to play in the Galax tuning style on the mountain dulcimer: all strings tuned to D, the low one is an octave lower.

But I didn't feel like retuning my dulcimer that far to play this tune -> last time it broke the string. So I just played it on the little strings (all tuned to D).
And then my brother (Josh) beat on some container to give a nice beat to it. :)

This was recorded in Linux. The reason I got Linux (two years ago) was to record with... and now (two years later) I finally got around to trying it out. When recording in windows, I get pops and crackles and jumps and all, and if I do a multi-track recording, it really gets bad. But with linux, so far I haven't had the first snap, crackle, or snicker. Even with a multitrack recording, I had absolutely no problems with recording, no pops or nothin crazy like that! Yay!

Great playing. I'd never heard drum played with it before.

What Walden said.

(It's pretty cool that you can write original tunes, by the way.)
