I was playing around tonight and after asking someone else if they could play this song I decided to whip out a quick recording. I am a huge star trek fan and this is actually one of the songs that made me want to learn whistle. Hope you enjoy. This is Captain Picard's Air from the Episode The Inner Light. Recorded on my tunable Susato D with my fav reverb setting added.

Man, that sounds great! Just last night I was looking at my video collection and thinking I need to watch The Inner Light again.

Wow! My susato doesn't sound that good. I guess I should have bought a smaller bore.

mine is in fact a Very Small Bore whistle. Plus I added some reverb to it. But that is it. no other effects on it.

This is great, shadoes. Thanks for sharing.

Knew I was missing some good whistle music when I couldn't get the piece on your "my space" to load right ... bless my dial-up internet.

dear shodoes: i just joined the praise whistlers. this is my first post. is there any chance you can type in the notes so that i don't have to figure that song out? i have a bunch of trekkie friends and would so love to make their day. that might even inspire them to learn to play.

So mutepointe, judging from your avatar, I'm guessing you're a fan of International Talk Like A Pirate Day, eh matey? It's coming up this month, you know. September 19.

Welcome. :D

Kitty
