Found out that one of the girls has a birthday and want to play Happy Birthday on the whistle for her. Don't know the notes and my wife isn't here. Could someone just give me the notes for D fingering?

If it is second oct ... just put a 2 following the note.... ie D2 ..... I am trying to pick it out by ear but have a lot to do today and it is taking too much time.

Thanks,

Jim

A A B A D2 C#

A A B A E2 D2

A A A2 F#2 D2 C B

G2 G2 F#2 D2 E2 D2

For D whistle, but in the key of G (so C natural):

D D E D G F#

D D E D A G

D D D2 B G F# E

C C B G A G

Thanks Kitty ....

You wouldn't happen to know a good "flourish (sp?) to play before would you? And .. maybe even "And Scoobie Do on Channel two" ?

As many times as you have heard that song, you should be able to play it in your sleep.

If I ;) did not say that someone else would.

And Scoobie Doo, on Channel two

A B A D2____, A B A D2____

[british accent]
And now Your Grace, is there anything else I may fetch for you..... your pipe and slippers, perhaps? A glass of Sherry? Or would you prefer a nice foot-rub and pedicure?
[/british accent]

You can see the score here. http://www.free-music-games.net/happy-b ... music.html It is always under the original name of "Good morning to you" as the song "Happy Birthday" is still under copyright.

Since Tommy started picking on you I guess I will add just a little fuel to the fire since you have missed me so much lately.

Uh, I hate to tell you this Jim, everyone has a birthday, just most are on different days. I am beginning to see why people are making fun of the way we talk in TEXAS....... Come on wheres your GRAMMER (no she is not in the kitchen baking cookies).

I hope this made you smile and that you are able to brighten her day. You are good people, I don't care what JOOTY says about you.

Peace,
Micheal

I was not picking on anyone, only trying to help his memory a little. 8)
