What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? Here it is raining, which is quite uncommon for this time of the year, but it is very welcome.

Should be stiflingly hot through Wednesday, which is just fine with me. It's expected to be a bit on the cool side Thursday, which, coincidentally, is the first day of my summer break. I expect to be out catching up on the gardening. The little sitting area depicted in the above photo has now become a small jungle, with just a few perennials bravely struggling to reach around the weeds.
