We have had rain and more rain ... ground is past saturated and we have water standing in our yard .. all over the yard. Sky has been dull .... gray and granular until tonight. This is what I saw ... first in one location ... last two in another location. It was a nice change.

Beautiful pictures! My grandmother used to say if there is enough blue sky to make a dutchmens britches the weather will clear. She was Pennsylvania Dutch fromboth German and Dutch heritage. I am looking seriously at long zoom cameras.

Seeing light play on clouds and shine through them always reminds me of the glory of God.

Very cool pictures, Jim .... but what caused the circular edge on the second picture? The only time I've ever seen anything similar was a picture of a double rainbow I took a few years ago. In the picture, the sky between the 2 rainbows was much darker than what was above or below the set.

I use an extension for filters and it shows up once in awhile on extreme Zoom. It is smaller than what it should be in diameter ... but I can use all my other filters with it. Should have cropped it out or backed off the zoom. I was just excited to see that sunset after days and days of gray ..... wanted it all to show.

Did take this one at the end ...of the light .... it was getting really dark and the twin engine mosquitoes were coming out!

Well, all I can say is that it was there (on the top corners) the first couple of times I looked. Could be Jim edited it out .... or I'm crazy .... :?

Maybe both!

It just shows how good I really am Judy .... I just concentrated very hard on those two items and then said "poof and be gone" and they were gone! It is merely mind over matter! :D

I can honestly say that I did nothing physically.... to the picture! [-( O:)

As for you being crazy .... well .... hmmmm.....

Can't speak for Jim (although that doesn't stop me from having an opinion that will remain undisclosed ... :P ), but I enjoy every minute of my lunacy ...
