.... is a really good time to take a picture or so.

Some days it is really hard to drive on the road for watching the ever-changing sky. God sure does awesome work!

This is the same parking lot where I weathered the storm a little over a week ago ...

Had to stop along the road home to take this ....

Zoomed into the 'bright' spot for this -- surprised when it showed up as 'darker' ...

It is really a good idea to "stop" before taking pictures .. else you might become one yourself!!! :D

NIce shots ... glad to see you taking the camera with you .. Adrian may ever give you an "attagirl" or whatever they do over there!

I like the bridge and the light under it .. very cool ....

Be careful .. sunsets and sunrises (like I really need to mention that one ... :D ) can become addictive.

Yeah ... the bridge pix is my favorite too. They have been working on that part of the parking lot. Don't know why it reflected the sun so well ... but it looks neat!

I had really pulled off into the parking lot to look for a rainbow. Sun was shining on that end and it was still raining where I was. Didn't get the picture I was looking for ... but I like the one I found.

Hmmm ... :-k ... sunrises are difficult to get addicted to, if you sleep through 'em. I'll just admire yours and Adrian's pix of them.

Switching hats ...becoming Dr. Jim Amateur Psychiatrist or shrunk .. depending on which you prefer.

Now Les ... ol chap .. why is it that you feel this sense of peace in a storm and not one of fear or indifference. And to follow that up .. why would you think it is weird to have that feeling?

Oh, I can totally relate to Les. There's nothing like hanging out in the basement with the sirens blaring. It's peace and excitement at the same time. And, hey...what's wrong with weird, anyway? We're all a little weird around here.

Well I feel the same way as you and Les but am trying to figure out what it is I like about storms. I am not talking about tornados but the rain storms with thunder and lightening that dances across the sky. I think it is the awesome power being unleashed ..... or maybe it is the "Oh it is only God rearranging the furniture in heaven" that I remember from my childhood and my kids as well. Maybe Less will have a more scientific response. :D

And as far as weird goes .... well ... hmmm....
