You be the judge.

This weekend I pulled the wallpaper of the wall in my basement and this is what was underneath.

No question - you win. wow.

There is no accounting for the taste of some folks. Or lack of it, as may apply.

I've never seen anything like it. I wouldn't want it in my home.

I've seen worse... once. We lived in a house in Claremore, a few years ago, and the bathroom wallpaper was covered in pictures of antique toilets.

It'd be perfect for a 60's hair salon, wouldn't it?

It's no longer there. As I recall, one of those women haircuts used to be called a "shag." When I was a little kid all my friends were getting shags.

Antique toilets? That may win.

As a kid, I was always fond of flips. That's why I had a crush on Mary Tyler Moore.

The wallpaper of my "bedroom" was 1941 and 42 newspapers.
It was interesting and probably not as ugly as your sample. It was 1949 when we moved into that place so it was old news. It got even older by the time I left home in '53.

No, you win!

That'd be cool in like a framed poster or something...but not ALL OVER the wall.

I hope you took it down carefully enough to roll it up. It'd fetch top dollar in one of those kitsch shops in the city!

Judging from the rest of the house back when we bought it, that "art" was probably not retro when it was put up there.

But the proportions are rather undesirable for a stereogram, unless those are tiny heads. I love stereograms. Even wrote a computer program to generate them. :D Not hard at all, if you know how to write computer programs.
