This is almost certainly my worst picture of the year. It was taken on the baby compact in a dark room without flash.

However, it is an exciting picture for me. It is our church hall in Thessaloníki and the people in the picture are Afghan Muslims watching the Jesus film in Farsi. The church befriended them during the summer by playing lots of sports in the park and now they come for English lessons.

The exciting thing was that after the film there was a long and interesting discussion about who Jesus was. These Afghans were full of questions and a number said that they had never heard these things about Jesus before. They said they want to discuss these thing more.

Rubbish picture yes, but an exciting one for me!

Wow, that is huge, Adrian! It may not be a technically brilliant pic but it is a momentous one.

As it says in the Epistle, "unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Dear Adrian,
The meaning and content of your picture is monumental. The composition is excellent. You have the focal point in the best place and all attention is drawn to the cross. You did a good job with light and dark.
It may not win a prize as a photo, but I give it an A in artistry and one in philosophy, too. As would Paul.

Mack

PS I like the ping pong table in the foreground.

Another great attribute to the picture, since it is online -- no one can be recognized. So, there is no fear of retribution to these listeners, no matter what their decisions are or will be.
