Tomorrow will mark one week since we put up Shall We Gather At the River. Is anybody working on that one? Do you want me to wait? I can put up a new hymn if this one isn't working for you.

Please respond if you want me to keep Shall We Gather going. Otherwise, I'll post a new song tomorrow (Wednesday).

OH YEAH! Praise to the Lord, the Almighty

I am working on SWGATR. I have the backing done, but still must add the melody.

If you want to put up another tune, go ahead, and I'll try to do both.

I'm working on it, but don't hold back on putting up another. I have a sick kid and an ailing wife, so I can't really play much right now, but I look forward to having a nice bank of tunes to learn as soon as I can play without disturbing everyone here in my condo.

I don't see any problem with posting a new tune within the 2-week time frame, or for that matter, even posting a pair of tunes.

In the time-honored tradition of the substitute teacher, I'll stick to the original design Shadoes set up. We'll get a new tune up Wednesday. Now, in the time-honored tradition of students everywhere, you guys can start throwing paper wads at me.

All right, that's detention for everybody!!!! Image

That looks like a tomato. Someone threw one at me in a church youth club a long time ago. I caught it, peeled it and threw it back!

Look forward to Wednesday.

I couldn't find any paperwad smileys.

Adrian, did that really happen? That's a great story.

My kids have this book about a girl who tried to perform for a crowd after her performance partner froze and ran under the bleachers. After that her performance didn't go well, and kids started throwing food at her. So she picked up the food and juggled it, and the crowd loved it. I find that story to be very inspiring.

Hope you get the time, Kitty, because I'd love to hear a Kitty original of that one. :)

I guess with the relatively low participation on tune 11, the answer to the question: "Shall we gather at the river?" is "Well, now that you mention it--not this week." :( ;) :)

I know, I know........

Just going through a busy spell here. I can catch a breath this weekend, so look for a new tune to go up.
