Sometimes I'm blighted with OVR when I'm correcting something in a PWA post. How do I turn this overwrite demon off? I know how to do it in MS Word but not here.

This problem doesn't exist in Firefox so it's likely you're still using Internet Explorer.

Lots of things...

Firefox is more secure than IE.
You don't get plagued by endless security fixes and update patches.
Firefox has an incredible amount of add-ons and plug-ins you can search through. "AdBlock Plus" alone is worth it for me, but I also like ForecastFox (a weather widget) and IE tab, a button which allows Firefox to access "IE-only" web sites and features.
I love the password manager.

But most of all.... LESS BLOAT, FASTER SURFING.

Just switched to Firefox. Yikes it really is quicker!

I am also trying it out. I haven't noticed a big change in the speed over IE. There are somethings I haven't figured out yet. How do I add Outlook Express to the tool bar?

You may have trouble with that one. Outlook Express, I believe, is a Microsoft product. But if you want something that's similar to Outlook Express, you should try Mozilla Thunderbird. Those who use it like it better than OE, and you can use this:

Adrian, since you're helping out with TPE, here's a ftp folder manager you can plug in to your new Firefox. It makes life MUCH easier.

I've put Firefox on my home PC and all the office workstations. It's a much better browser than IE - if I'm not mistaken it's from the same folks who gave us Netscape (Mozilla), also much better that IE, at the time.

I used to remove 80-100 adware 'bugs' daily from PC's with IE, but with Firefox I find 8-10 after a few weeks - no comparison.

In terms of performance, you can also speed things up by emptying the 'Prefetch' folder in Windows - delete everything in it, but not the folder itself regularly. It really seems to make a big difference.

Kitty turned me on to FireFox over the summer when I encountered a problem with the board with Ie. I switched over and have never regretted it! Thanks for the tip on emptying the Prefetch folder. I just tried that, and already pages seem to be loading faster.

I answered my own question, sort of. I didn't add Outlook to the Firefox tool bar but I did add i to the windows task bar at he bottom of the screen. Hs how.

Right click the task bar, select tool bars, select links.

A links box will show up he bottom of the screen, drag Outlook from the start menu to the links box. To the links box to the left. Voila
