I just got myself a ghost whistle from Parks Whistles with the last of my Christmas cash. What fun! OK, so it may be a bit of a novelty to have a clear whistle, but at least it's something that makes friends and family say "play something else!" even after you've been practicing for awhile on a regular whistle. Not only that, but it's one of the nicer sounding whistles I bought this year.

Didn't have quite enough cash/interest for his "every" whistle, but now that I've seen the ghost whistle, I may have to keep it in mind for when my whistle fund builds up again. :)

Congrats, Shan!
What a kick to order a whistle and be tickled with it when it arrives! There's no feeling quite like it--unless you can go back to being ten years old at Christmas!

Aren't new whistles wonderful? :D

Nice to hear good things about the "Ghost" whistle, Shan. I tried his "Every" whistle on the tour and wondered about the "Ghost". Both will probably be added to my collection in the near future. Will confess that I want to compare his clear whistle to one I've made, check out the material he uses, steal ... er ... borrow any good ideas ... ;)

Judy, the Ghost Whistle hasn't a ghost of a chance of comparing with yours, in the looks department at least.

How does one go about acquiring a Judy whistle? I've seen pictures-- they are pretty!

Does Judy have a web page for her whistles? price list?

How about Tommy's whistles? waiting time? web page? price list?

Well, Adrian has the waiting list about right.

Shan & Lyn, the whistles that I make are free to PWA members. The problem is that I can't find the time to make one very often. My job & helping care for my mom keeps interfering with my hobbies .... ;) Several very patient people have waited .... more months than I want to think about. Ron & Randy were the only whistle recipients last year, I think.

Any way ... I'd be glad to add you to the list. Sometime, hopefully before the Second Coming of Christ, you might get a whistle .... 8-[

Wow. I'd be honored to be on your list. Thank you, Judy.

Hmmm...
A little waiting time.
Web page..... ebay & referals
Price list. Depends on the whistle material. I use wood, cpvc, cpvc & brass. Making only whistles in the key of C and D. Send me a PM or email tommyviking1@aol.com

I'd be thrilled to be added to the list, Judy. I'm sure it's worth the wait. :)
