Well, I haven't tried this before, so I hope it works out okay. I'm not a great player, but I enjoy playing. These are a couple of things I recorded recently on a Hoover Low D. Hope it works.

Peace,

Bill

Yep, it worked.

Sounds good! What did you use to record?

(and good to see you again)

Really nice Bill - I like the one with reverb best, but that's just my taste. The whistles sound really sweet.

Very well done! chocolate for you!

Thanks, Kitty. I used a Sony digital recording device, but then used Audacity to add the reverb. It's fun. It's good to be back with you all. I recently took a new call and we've moved to Amherst, New York, so I've been absent from this sort of thing.

Peace.

Chocolate? You must know my wife! Thanks! I like the reverb, too. It's kind of fun to add.

Peace.

I like the sound of that Hoover whistle! Crisp. Is it made of brass? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. It's a beautiful whistle. Mack did a terrific job on it and pretty quick, too. It's not brass; I believe it's aluminum. It's thick and silver anyway. I'm really enjoying learning how to play it.

Peace,
Bill

Nice playing, Bill. I like the one with reverb, best, also.

Good job Bill. To my taste I preferred the more natural sounding version without reverb.
