Well, I figured out a way to carry the whistles back and forth to church - and to have em on hand for when the worship leader says, "Oh, lets play this one today in Ab."

If you open up the pictures, you'll see two versions. The blue one was my original one. Its 8 inches in diameter. The green one is his big brother . . . 10 inches in diameter. I used pipe insulation for the sleeves. Kinda like a golf club bag - only much better.....you can't play amazing grace on your 4 Iron.

Obviously, the green one allows me to carry more whistles . . . I actually have room now to add a few more! Uh-oh.......

That looks like it works well both for carrying and having them readily at hand. I've tended to use rolls, but they don't stand up nearly as well.

You have room for more whistles. I wouldn't worry too much, unless you decide you NEED 3 whistles in Ab. At that point, I would be a little concerned. :D

I like your carrier a lot, Randy. Holds the whistles for carrying and sits nicely at your side, upright, for easy change-ups. Brilliant idea!

I have a nifty briefcase style satchel years ago made by AnnieMc on C&F. (Wonder what happened to her?) It will stay open if needed but can't handle any whistle lower than A, unless it breaks apart.

Ah, it lived on a shelf at Home Depot disguised as a concrete form tube. It costs $13.00 if I remember correctly.
