We have two chain link dog runs that I put back to back that incressed from 10' X 10' to 10' X 30'. For shelters We use pre owned plastic pet carriers. They are easier to keep clean than wood. Chickens are closed in at night for protection from predators. Two days ago a rabbit snuck in and has not l...

Re: Red Sox @ Dodgers

 That had to be either the most exciting baseball game ever ... or the most boring. I did not find it boring. It was the third game in the ''World Series'', the team that wins four out of seven is the 2018 ''World Series'' champs. I am an Astros fan but did find the last nine innin...

Re: Confusing news & weather casts

We had plenty of rain yesterday so much it made large puddles in the land. When it receded fallen pecans flowed to the edge. The sun :sunny2: came out and I was blessed with clusters of pecans on the edge of where the puddles were. Easy finding and picking up. If you are able to see the picture that...

Saturday night's lead story was "VP Pence visits West Virginia for Morrisey rally, Manchin responds" In reading the story, I found that the Morrissey rally was held Saturday, the Manchin 'response?' rally was held Friday night. How does one respond to something that hasn't happened? :-k http://www....

Re: Wet weather & rainbows

Here in Santa Fe, Houston, Texas area there has been rain off and on for two weeks. The ground is saturated. Woke up this morning to flash flood alerts, and some schools closing. There is also a potential hurricane in the caribbean headed for our Gulf of Mexico. I am sure you all are watching hurric...

Re: Wet weather & rainbows

Years ago after a lot of rain the sun came out and there was a great rainbow. I drove home to get my camara. Ran in the house then back to the truck. Looking for a good backdrop to put the rainbow in. I went south on hwy 6 till I was in position to see the rainbow arch down to the steeple of a churc...

Thanks, jrc. My personal opinion is that too many people are way too quick to 'take offense' at dang near anything. Even 'Nice day" isn't a safe statement any more. Guess you could say that I'm starting to 'take offense' at all the people 'taking offense' these days. 8) Yes well said. :w...

Glad you had a happy ending for that. I love my 17 year old van (with close to a quarter of a million miles on it) and plan to keep it on the road as long as feasible.
