Sounds like lots of really good music! The opportunity of playing with others is a fine thing. I think that bluegrass and Irish music both encourage a fair bit of improvisation. The well company says it's a cistern, with a pipe going into the ground to draw up non-potable water. The pipe does not need to be removed. Had 2 companies come out and give estimates; one was going to excavate over the top, break in and remove the top, fill with sand, and recover with limestone (which we have.)
