Hope the Tigers transplant does well for Houston tonight. Also hope Houston does better than did Cleveland. (And that I'm not squashing the toes of any Yankees fans.)

GO, ASTROS!

We are not big baseball fans either, however. When the home team has a chance to go to the ''World series'' we are fans now. Also gives a chance to be interested in the same thing as our adult sons. Family.

Like other ball teams Astros have a lot of history since 1962. Astros went to the world series first time in 2005 and were shut out by the Chicago White Sox in first four games.
The Astros were established as the Houston Colt .45s and entered the National League as an expansion team in 1962 along with the New York Mets. ... In 2017, they became the first franchise in MLB history to have won a pennant in both the NL and the AL, when they defeated the New York Yankees in the ALCS.
Then the Dodgers and Astros matched up for the 2017 World Series and it looked like it could go either way. Astros won the seventh game with four wins the World Series.
Hmmmmm....... Just had a thought.
