It was great Judy. Two of my daughters came in one from a Florida and one from Ohio. It was quite a surprise. I have been a little sick for a while. Allergies and flu put me down for a while. I am doing well now. I am playing harmonica, whistle and uke now, tenor uke. I have been away for a short time but it must have been longer than I thought since I just saw this post.

Tenor Ukulele!

Me too. What fun. Although I will warn you, a tenor can lead to a baritone, and a bai to a concert, and a concert to a soprano.

Whistles are not the only instrument that can lead to an acquisition disorder.

Glad the bday was great.

Randy I already have a soprano and I have been thinking of a concert. Then of course there are different woods. A concert in Koa would be nice.

Connie, have you been talking to my wife?

You are absolutely right. I’ve been playing uke for 18 months and have had a total of 10 ukes during that time. I currently own 6. I’ve even sold a few whistles to fund my acquisitions.

Granted the 6 I own, are all vital, of course - just like all my whistles are “needed”.

Ha. What a blessing to be able to praise God with different voicings.

Would you limit an artist to one brush, or one medium? Certainly not!

More tools = greater depth of expression.

At least that's my story ... lol

And you are sticking to it! Right, jrc? 8)

Only one uke, a bari, entered my world. Whistles, flutes and dulcimers? I have plenty ... maybe even almost enough.

Maybe. :-k
