Frost is on the punkin.
Cuppa is from Dunkin.
Walmart cookie for dunkin'.
Things are goin' fine.
Just got to thinkin'
Someone's mood may be sinkin'
So a word of cheer might be in line.
If you're cheery just ignore me.
If you're bluesy listen to me:
Sun is shinin', trees in color!
There's a better path to foller
Than the one to gloom!
Let some Sonshine in your room!

Re: October Morn

Love this beautiful poem, Mack! A ray of Sonshine is just what I need.
.... and maybe a donut ....

Re: October Morn
chocolate is essential!
I purchased the compulsory bag of trick or treat candy from Walmart.
And a bag of KitKats-a few of which will go into the handouts.

I like good chocolate also. This time of year my preference goes to candy corn and the candy pumpkins. Tried to find candy corn in the small handout bags but so far only in the large 20 oz bags and no candy pumpkins. Both are made with the same ingredients near as I can tell. In the past I have seen them with a bit of chocolate on them. The chocolate is similar to tootsie roll which is only chocolate flavor-not real chocolate. It is not nice to foolmack wrote:chocolate is essential!

Hmmmmm....... Just had a thought.
Re: October Morn
Tommy, look for Brach's Harvest mix for the pumpkins and the bit of fake chocolate. Its okay when on candy corn.
Chocolate donuts are good -- eclairs are better than good. Real chocolate is the tippy top of the food pyramid!
