I really dislike it. Can it be removed? I'm not sure why boards have it as a feature.

Yes, I believe there is a hack that can disabled the post count. I'll look into it if no one minds having the count disappear. Personally, I just ignore it.

Adrian just doesn't want anyone to know he has the highest ... while Kathy and I are tied up in other things for the moment .... :mrgreen: .... I'll NEVER catch up with him now! ;)

The only thing I would 'miss' in losing the post count would be the subtle 'reminder' to welcome new members on their first or second post -- not a 'biggie'.

How about if we do something like "levels" so we know if someone is new, and for those that have been around the block. Maybe 3-4 levels is all we'd need:

Newbie (or Just Arrived or Getting Feet Wet)
Picking up Speed
Flying
Over The Hill

Okay, they might not be the best, but I just wanted to give you an idea of what I was thinking. Maybe we do groups by states of WhoA . . . ?
