That's interesting, I've been to Midleton many times but never seen that monument, I'll look for it the next time. In what way did the Choctaws help during the famine?

The Choctaws took up voluntary donations from tribal members. It was a small sum, but they gave sacrificially. There has been a bond between the Choctaw and the Irish since that time. Trees in the area may block your view of the feather memorial. If you use Google Earth, copy and paste these coords into the search field: 51.9062 N, 8.1748 W

Hi Judy K. I was thrilled to see your post. I hope you are well. I tend to get too busy to check the forum and have to set reminders in my phone for nearly everything these days. Are you still running a business? ...making whistles? ...playing the flute?
